According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China exported a total of 10,450.67 mt of copper enamelled wire in November, up 8.82% YoY and 7.49% MoM. From January to November, China cumulatively exported 105,984.69 mt of copper enamelled wire, up 27.56% YoY. (HS code 85441100)
According to SMM, downstream enterprises related to enamelled wire accelerated their exports due to concerns over changes in export policies, creating a "rush to export" trend, which led to a continuous increase in enamelled wire export volumes in November. Specifically, in November, China exported copper enamelled wire to 153 countries and regions. Among the top 10 countries and regions by export volume, only exports to Malaysia decreased by 8.95% MoM, while exports to other countries and regions showed growth. In terms of export volume rankings, there was relatively small change. Vietnam, Japan, and Thailand remained the top three, with specific volumes of 1,610 mt, 1,263 mt, and 1,187 mt, respectively. Exports to Germany and Hong Kong SAR increased by 10.69% and 28.72% MoM, entering the top 10 and ranking ninth and tenth, respectively. Additionally, exports of copper enamelled wire to Egypt dropped significantly in November, with only 71.79 mt exported, ranking 21st.
Regarding export provinces, the top three provinces by export volume in November were Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Guangdong. Among them, Jiangsu's enamelled wire export volume increased by 29.23% MoM, rising to second place, while Guangdong's export volume decreased by 2.42%, ranking third. Meanwhile, Liaoning's export volume fell by 42.1% MoM, dropping to fifth place, while Anhui province saw an 18.23% increase, surpassing Liaoning to rank fourth. Specifically, export data from the General Administration of Customs for October showed that the export volumes of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Anhui, and Liaoning were 2,742 mt, 2,643 mt, 2,001 mt, 649 mt, and 552 mt, respectively, accounting for 26.2%, 25.3%, 21.03%, 19.2%, 6.2%, and 5.3%, ranking in the top five.
